My Heart

The barrier has been me!!!! Not the answer I was looking for of course. It's always easier to blame others or circumstances. In this case, I had/have no one to blame but myself.

But, my insecurity was that I never wanted anyone to see that I didn't have the answers or the plan. So, pride took over...I ALWAYS had an answer, a plan and an idea. The result is that I never did a good job of empowering others to have a good idea or plan. I didn't listen well to the answers of others.....What does that equal....POOR LEADERSHIP.

As a leader you must seek, recognize and deal with the barriers in your own heart before you can truly lead others. You can build things on your talent, but you need a brokeness before God if you are going to lead with His power and blessing!
