1. Karis is doing well. She is living with our good friends Greg & Michelle. They are taking great care of her. Over the next few weeks, my intern Kayla is going to Haiti to help take care of her. She is healthy, happy and in great hands. God has blessed up beyond belief to give us such good friends and safe ways to care for our little girl in our absence. (Here's the latest pic of Karis we were sent!)
2. We are heading back to Haiti on Easter. (That night) During our trip we will complete the final necessary steps to finalize our adoption. After this trip, we are simply waiting on a judge to sign the decree and let us bring her home. We are not sure how long the process will take, but have been told late in August should be the "worst case scenario". Please be praying for favor and a quick move by our judge.
3. We are working feverishly to raise the remaining funds to bring Karis home. As of now we still need to raise about $7000. Many of you have helped by purchasing our T-Shirts or making direct donations. If you have not purchased a shirt yet, please consider doing it before the end of the week. We are partnered with Ordinary Hero to help raise funds for our adoption. For the remainder of this week, if we can sell the most t-shirts for our cause, Ordinary Hero will donate an extra $500 towards our adoption. Please help us work towards this goal. You can click here to purchase your shirt through Ordinary Hero. (Choose the Robisons as the affiliate family in check out...By the way, check these guys out. They are an incredible ministry for adopting families and orphan care!) Also, you can click the donation link below to make a donation if you feel like that is one way you and your family can help.
4. If you're interested in serving with us in Haiti this year, or being part of helping one of the children's homes or the orphan retreat center please check out the IMPACT HAITI site for more info.
